I have an Athlon XP 1800+ CPU, and a motherboard on nForce chipset w/ integrated GeForce2. During setup, when it comes to configuring X it[setup] cannot detect my video card and monitor, afterwards, when the installation is complete, system boots up and its time to log on the screen starts to blink and after a while it stops with message: "'X' respawning too fast paused for 5 minutes", and after 5 mins it begins to blink again. I tried to configure it, but Xconfigurator was unable to probe the monitor and detect the card. After installing on an older system (AMD K-6 200MHz, 2mb Video[S3]) there were no problems - the video card and monitor were detected, and X worked properly. I suppose its a driver problem. So can anyone please tell me where can i get working drivers or correct the problem in some other way...

The problem is that X does not contain any
drivers for nvidia products. However, nvidia
does have good X driver support. Check out
nvidias site for drivers and install
instructions.

Ditto, the drivers that do come with
redhat aren't that great. Go get the drives
and install and use. I have a GF2GTS PRo
ans Tux and Chromium ran like crap till I
got the new drivers. Now I'm getting my 90FPS
with Unreal Tourn.

Good luck.
