Hi, the 3D acceleration used to work fine until just now. I have an nVidia GeForce FX 5200 PCI w/128mb ram, and I was using the nvidia driver from the nvidia website. Like I said, it used to work fine, but now it is "Choppy".

Choppy in the sense, is it _very_ slow, or sometimes a bit slow? Coz very slow (about 2 frames per second) would mean 3D acceleration is not enabled. Check if the "nvidia" driver is still configured to load in /etc/X11/XF86Config, and not the "nv" driver.
