Hello, I have a dual boot system with winme and rh 7.2. I have a 3com 3C905C-TX ethernet card that works fine with windows and is even detected with rh ...however, i don't know what else to do!?? I thought i typed in everything i need to type in ...what else is there? It had eth0 as the card...what else do i need to do? I need the ethernet connection to grab my brothers dsl ( i'm connected to his computer otherwise i can't get online.)Please help!

You need to figure out DHCP/BOOTP options or whatever you use to start the eth0

If I'm not mistake some 3com NIC will not work with linux the 3c905C maybe one of them. You may need to check it out

when i type in "neat" at the prompt, it shows me that the 3com card is eth0 , so i know it recognizes the 3com card. However, i can't get it initialized...any suggestions? please? ~Aaron
