Where would I begin to look for a distro that would run good on a laptop with 300mhz cpu, 192mb of ram, and a 6 gig hard drive? I have a wireless b pcmcia card also but I reckon I may be able to get it to work with ndiswrapper? I'm tired of windows 98 on this thing.

Should I choose a debian based, one of the older fedora's or mandrakes?

I don't think a live distro would help me determine the speed as it has a slow old cd rom tho could be helpful in determining a distro to choose.

Also I came into a bunch of old laptops of the early pentium 75-100mhz era with 500mb hd's and ranging 16-32mb's of ram. Most have corrupt windows 95 on them. Is there any decent distro's with some kind of graphical install on these or should I just forget it?

Thanks for any input.
