Linux found both my onboard sound and my Live value soundcard. However I only get sound from the onboard. Can I choose 1 or disable 1?

Can you get to your BIOS when you boot your computer? There usually is an option there to disable the onboard sound. If not then maybe there is a jumper on the motherboard.

I don't see anyplace on the mobo or in the BIOS to disable the onboard soundcard. I was really hoping there was a software way to choose 1 soundcard or disable 1 from Linux.
