I'm running mdk82 with kde3
Two problems:

1.
Whenever I open the konsole window, the taskbar freezes until the konsole window has been closed. And when I close the konsole I receive this message in a messagebox:
--
Sorry - KDE Panel
KDEInit could not launch 'konsole-noxft'
--
How can this be fixed?

2.
Keyboard-related problems:
I can't make a double quote mark (shift+')
How can this be fixed?

Thanks!

Hi,

I experienced both problems as well. I think for some reason, your keyboard setting is 104-key keyboard or something. (You can still make " by the way, just press twice). Setting this to Microsoft Natural keyboard works for me (although my keyboard is not a natural one--I guess they have the same number of keys--105).

No idea about #1. It sucks, I know.

Ray.
