Hi,
I would like to assign 1 IP address to 2 NICs on the same Red Hat Linux machine for hight aviability. In normal condition, only 1 NIC working, an other standby for spare and it will be up automatically whenever the first one down. Could any one advice me ?
Thanks in advance.

Du

Did you ever get any luck with this.?
I am trying to do two nics, one ip each.
one at x.x.x.2 another on x.x.x.3
I feel that being on the same network is messing up the routing or something.

reply to sonicysa@hotmail.com too please thanks.
