I've heard that 1nol's free internet service works with linux. Can it? I've tried logging in, but it doesn't seem to take my username. How do I find the DNS addresses? Or are there any other free ISP's? (may freewwweb rest in peace.)

1nol currently does not support dial on demand, so you'd need to use their software interface (friendly web)....this means even if you had the dns #'s they wouldn't work. I've tried...found them on one of their old webpages.

At present 1nol does not work with anything, regarding e-mail that is. You can receive but can only send e-mail to other 1nol used. Their gateway is shut down and when you try to send e-mail to other than 1nol users you get a 550 error.
