Comment: I've heard that 1nol's free internet service works with linux. Can it? I've tried logging in, but it doesn't seem to take my username. How do I find the DNS addresses? Or are there any other free ISP's? (may freewwweb rest in peace.)

Reply: (edit)1nol currently does not support dial on demand, so you'd need to use their software interface (friendly web)....this means even if you had the dns #'s they wouldn't work. I've tried...found them on one of their old webpages.

Reply: (edit)At present 1nol does not work with anything, regarding e-mail that is. You can receive but can only send e-mail to other 1nol used. Their gateway is shut down and when you try to send e-mail to other than 1nol users you get a 550 error.
