Comment:
I just installed kubuntu on my system and i'm having a bit of a problem getting the right resolution. I have a widescreen monitor that supports 1440x900 max resolution
I have an ATI Radeon 9550 and I've installed the fglrx drivers
my xorg.conf looks like this I took out all the other resolutions SubSection "Display" Depth 24 Modes "1440x900" EndSubSection
but when I start KDE the resolution is set to 1920x1080 so i dont get to see the whole screen on the monitor
anyway to get force it to display at my selected resolution?
Money not an issue? Where do you live and when are you not home? I'm not gonna rob you, I'm just gonna steal some stuff
