# lpq -error

hi expert:
i got an error when type:
[root@support root]# lpq <ENTER>
Get_local_host: hostname 'support' bad
[root@support root]#

i already set my /etc/sysconfig/network and /proc/sys/kernel/hostname to 'support' hostname..what else i need to check?

pls help!!!

You need to add "support" to /etc/hosts, adding a line such as this:

10.10.10.10 support

("10.10.10.10" being the ip address and "support" being the hostname)

For further info, "man hosts"
