I am travelling and need to constantly upload photos to the ipad from more than one computer. During sync process, all the stored photos in the ipad are deleted. I will appreciate for assistance to block deletion of the already stored photos while the new photos are to be uploaded to the ipad
My suggestion for you is create more than one folder to include on iTunes and remember your iPad synchronize with iTunes what is already on iTunes folders as a mirror. Everything you add or delete, a picture, a song a file on iTunes it will do the same to those items on your iPad. The items wont be just added to your iPad and stay there so you need to keep all of them on a folder or different folders on your computer and sync with iTunes for the time you need then to remain on your iPad. If you need to add more images or photos create more folders or sub folders and sync to your iPad using iTunes:
Step 1 Create a folder on your computer and write a name for it. Inside this folder create more folders with the different name events you want. Copy the photos you want on each folder. (You can use only one sub folder level so don't create more folders inside the events).
Step 2 Plug your iPad to your computer, on iTunes select your iPad under DEVICES and go to the Photos tab.
Step 3 Check "Sync photos from:" and from the drop down menu select "Choose a Folder". Navigate and select the general folder you already created on your computer with all the images inside. On iTunes you will see all subfolders and the ones you check will appear as different albums on your iPad's Photos app.
Step 4 Press Sync. Open the Photos app inside your iPad.
I hope it helps!
You are the BEST! Thank you so much for your instructions regarding photos and ipad. I'm a novice and you were clear and to the point. Vicky.
