I downloaded all of the pics (1,843) from my iPhone 4s to my laptop without a problem. However, when I went to review my pics each individual picture file is there except the picture will not open. When I click to open the file it shows an "x" in a box. I have downloaded pics before and have not had a problem. Could the large amount downloaded have cause the problem? The pics downloaded as a jpg which is usual not a problem. Any recommendations how I can recover my pics? I also requested the photos to be deleted from my iPhone after the pictures were downloaded...ugh!!
Hi, If you have already deleted the pictures from your iphone then you may be out of luck..... The only thing i could possibly recommend you try is opening the pictures from another application such "Windows photo viewer" or something similar.
if the pictures are corrupt then i am afraid they may not be recoverable.
Just a note, i personally use a software callone "touchCopy" to transfer my pictures from my iphone to my pc, i find it much easier and it seems to have less problems.
