I got some DVDs and wanna to watch them on my iPad, I really enjoy that but have no idea to do it. Any suggestions? TIA.

Try Handbrake. It's free and has presets for iPads, iPhones, Apple TV, etc. No guesswork needed for optimal viewing on those devices.
