|Daughter has a new iPod shuffle. We loaded an initial playlist of about 40 songs. After listening to it with no problem, it suddenly got caught in a loop of the same 3-4 songs. This happened regardless of whether it was in shuffle mode or play all mode.|
I reconnected it to iTunes to see if there was an issue with the songs (I know there are settings that allow you to skip songs in shuffle mode for instance) that I was aware of, but everything looked fine.
When she went to listen again, everything worked great. She listened to just about all of the songs again. Then, boom, all of a sudden, it was caught in the same kind of loop.
The kicker was that a couple of the songs were the exact same ones that were in the loop the first time, but a couple were different (which to me indicates that it isn't an issue with the songs themselves).
For the record, we have 4 iPods in the home and the same songs work fine on everyone else's.
Any ideas or does this sound like bad hardware?
