I transferred photos from my desktop (windows XP) to my iPad and now want to delete photos from my iPad. How can i do this?

OK, the space useage bar on the bottom with all the colors? I clicked on the orange (photos) button and it took me to a screen that asked me which photos I want to share. Go through and UNCLICK everything you don't want on your Ipad, then sync. This took about an hour to figure out, what a pain int the butt.
