I am tired of paying $100 for iphone data for 4 phones, $30 for ipad data and $40 for home interent. $170 a month for data? Augh! I need help with internet connectivity compatability between my 4 iphones, and the following: ipad, xbox, apple laptop, windows laptop, bluray player. All devices are wireless. I want to get on a data share (6 gigs/month) plan with ATT, use iphone mobile hotspots, and drop my home internet.
You wouldn't want to drop your home broadband service. Mobile hotspots are MUCH slower than your broadband connection. Hotspots are typically around 0.5Mbits max compared to 2Mbits minimum on a broadband connection.
