I was wondering if anyone has downloaded Zone Alarm from zone labs lately and if they had any unusual problems? I downloaded the free version on 2 completely different computers and both times they crashed and gave me the blue screen of Death??Co-incidence???NOT??? Then I reboot and loose my 16 color settings and my desktop and running very slowww! No viruses found and no trojans either?? Any Thoughts And thanks in Advance Bob...

I used zone alarm on a p3 500,128mb,wind 98, wDSL, for quite some time without any trouble at all.

Yes, I have used it on my system for a month or two now with no probs but when i downloaded it on the 2 other computers at differnt locations this happened

I downloaded it tonight (19 Jan 2004), and yesterday (two different PC'S). No problems.
Did you get it from Zonelabs.com directly ? Or from Cnet.com which now uses a 'download manager' which it's self has spyware?
This may be it...

I did get it downloaded after i corrected all the problems that arose, Lost video settings Had to reboot with boot disc format H/D ??????

If you've previously had zone alarm on your system and are upgrading, try going to the zonelabs website and following the instructions for removing an old setup *completely* from your system. I ran into some weird problems lately when I tried to upgrade to a newer version and the website instructions fixed it all up!
