Ok, I'm about to get a new computer. But first I need to determine which video card to get. The two options I have are:

ATI Radeon 9000 Pro (O) 128MB DDR TV/DVI
ATI Radeon 9100 (O) 128MB DDR TV/DVI

I dont know much about video cards so any help would be appreciated. I always thought the later models were better, and also more expensive. These two are both 128MB but the 9100 is $20 cheaper for some reason. I also dont understand what the "(O)" means, it was there on the list. I got this from http://www.itcassociates.com

???

Is the 2.53 ghz / 1 GB DDR RAM what you have now or what you're getting? If it's what you're getting, cut back on your RAM to 512 mb...1 GB is overkill...chances are you'll never need that much & the performance difference between the 2 is minimal. Take the money you save on RAM & get a decent video card like a Ti4200

I agree to that you don't need 1GB of RAM. 512MB is good enough for you. I wouldn't buy the Ti4200 because its not a dx9 capable GPU. The radeon 9600 PRO aren't that expensive and it support dx9 and you get higher performance when you use FSAA and aniostropic filtering.
