I installed XP, and it keeps asking for the drivers for the IDE drive (my floppy). my floppy won't work, and i don't recall ever needing drivers for any floppy drive. besides, i have no clue who manufactured it. should i blow $15 and purchase another drive? that might not work. please help!!

If the suggestions posted above don't resolve your problem, post back with the exact message you get when XP "keeps asking for the drivers for the IDE drive". There may be a clue in the message that will help to idenify the problem.
