Every morning, when I start-up my PC, my computer freezes up while XP is loading. It happens during the "Windows Sound" and the only way to reboot it, is to pull the plug. This is also present after a system restore. After I pull the plug and re-boot, it will start fine, and will start throughout the day. It seems to have a problem when it has been off for an extended period of time.

I've had this problem... first, disable plug n play OS in your bios, disable power mngment settings in winDoze and BIOS. When booting for first time after that, press f5 just before u see the windows logo screen, and boot into safe mode..reboot, normal mode. ushould be fine from here...
