Comment:

I was given a Xerox workstation XK35c plugged it in got all the latest drivers, installed the software (buggy as hell) and it was scanning fine, went to move it 1 foot to put under a unit and it was turned on (but not actually scanning etc) and a large yellow bolt shot out from the top of it i got a small shock (only like a static shock) and quickly unplugged it, well its dead now! anyone have any experience of this happening, it was being scraped anyway and i got it for free so nothings lost, any chance it could affect my pc as it was connected via a usb cable ive tested the usb port with my printer and it seems fine do i need to worry?
