Comment:
I have a xbox 360 and the 20gig drive has become faulty it will not read, I have removed it from the case and found that its connection is different to the normal 2.5" drives IDE, I believe it to be a ATA drive but I would like to know if the connection used by microsoft is their own or can I buy a run of the mill ATA laptop drive and fit it back to the case then use it in the Xbox, All help appreciated, thanks

I think you need to find an 'Xbox forum'.
