Which one? I have A motherboard with Pci express and i broke my x600 xt 128mb ( I was trying to get the fan off and the pliers snapped off a chip). Im not sure which to get, could i softmod the pro to an xt? Im polanning on playing doom 3 alot and 256 sounds ggod for doom but i not sure which is better. All help is appreicitated.
Summary: 256MB cards are just hype. They generally use RAM with a higher latency & benchtest no better than 128MB cards...in many cases, they're actually slower. Just as an example, look at the Radeon X600 Pro...
