I don't know about sucks but offshore support is pretty poor. Asus however is one of the better ones of the lot in my opinion. An Intel dealer would be able to get you proirity American based support and at least get you some answers or replacements.

Also, I think I would find a new computer dealer if I were you. What kind of answer is that from someone who sold you 4 new systems? Who cares if they DO suck, it's their job to fix them and not bad mouth their own hardware choice.

On the bright side, look at all that money you saved on AMD machines.

If they sold them as systems then they should work.
Asus is one of the big companies when it comes to motherboards, amoungst only a handful of big companies.
They have a reputation for making good motherboards, with more frills and finess and quality than the cheaper companies.
I think you are being told s---e.

I had an asus motherboard that worked like a charm..... until it burned up under normal, well-ventilated operation in an unmodified computer. Personally, I think how a board runs is immaterial in the face of potential instability, and I don't think there are any exceptions to that rule.

I have used at least 20 of these boards in the last few months and havent had an issue with any of them.

Intrepid sounds right think you been told c--p, I would be looking at the whole configuration of the rig.

Thats the funniest load of crap i have ever heard.The pc shop sells you these systems,and when they broke down and you let them know what happened,and they tell you asus motherboards suck?I would of said you guys (the store you bought the systems)SUCK!! even more for selling me bad systems.They probably sold you returned items that were probably defective,and now they are trying to weezle there way out.To bad that wasnt me because i would of gone back to the store and shoved a ram stick up the person that sold you these sytems nose.

System restarting--->

Speaking only from my experience this problem has only occurred under two circumstances for me....

1) I used an older heatsink for a newer cpu and my system was ok for about 1 min and then restarted. (cpu was overheating causing the system to be unstable)

2) One of the ram sticks was faulty, i took it back and got a new one.

If it's doing it only when you install software it could be the ram.
Why not try the ram sticks from a good pc in the faulty pc, just a case of turning them off and changing them.
Then you can tell them their ram is crap!!
