Please let me know. I have tried to look at the forums but no solution. I am happy with my PC running at 1024 x 768 and im wondering is the a huge difference between the two screens. I like the big hard drive and wondering whether to go for big hard drive or better screen. I also wanted to know if the ultra sharp LCD is as good as the LCD in the wxga Inspiron 700m which i like since its got a glossy look ( high definition). The laptop is intended for normal use once in a while play a game medal of honor or call of duty and watch movies play music and surf the web. Also is there a difference in the two wireless i have a lynksis wrtg54 which card is better. Please answer all this questions for me.I am 30 Yrs and have good eye sight too. Thanks

The WXGA (Wide eXtended Grapics Array) supports a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels which is similar to what you are used to. Just wider.

The WSXGA (Wide Super eXtended Graphics Array) Supports 1600 x 900 or 1600 x 1024 pixels. Therefore it is a superior display.

Remember that LCDs perform best at their native resolution. If you can let your icons and text become a little smaller, the wsxga might be the better choice. I assume that both the laptops are offered at a similar price point. The important thing to remember is it is much cheaper and easier to upgrade the HDD than the LCD.

Don't be afraid to include other brands in your short list.

There's not a lot of differenc between different brands of wireless networking adaptors. The only reason to prefer one type over another is if you use the 108 MHZ versions, you need to have them from the same manufacturer as this is a nonstandard feature.
