I have tried multiple laptop AC adapters/chargers and it still will not power on. I was wondering what else I should check and if I should check if the battery is bad. I am thinking it has something to do with the battery, but wouldn't it power up via the charger if it were plugged in regardless?

ive seen laptops not work at all because the battery is screwed, whether the A/C was plugged in or not. But another possibilty is the mainboard, the power is connected directly to the mobo, if that doesnt work then the power isnt going to come on.
