Won't power on sometimes...help

I just recently build a computer and it was working fine for the first week, untill one day I shut it down and tried to powering it back on, but it would only flash as if trying to power on, but wouldn't. I tried powering it on again after some 15 minutes and it powered on. It didn't happen again for a few days, untill yesterday when it did the same thing. Any idea what could be causing the problem?
