Hi.
The wireless router of our home WLAN network was recently changed. As a result, my brother and I were both unable to print using our wireless printer.

I consulted the printer's manual and made the wireless connection of the printer to the new router.

The printer says it's connected to the router and I am able to print from my computer (wireless pc), but my brother's laptop says the printer is offline and he cannot print.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

✔ Best Answer
Check the connection settings of the installed printer in the printer drivers properties on both computers.

Maybe the settings differ, especially the printers ip address.

If so, simply delete and reinstall the printer at your brothers computer.

Deleting and reinstalling the printer is the best way when all looks right but it still does not work. I have done this numerous times over the years on many different machines.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Thank you paulsep and Fingers. Your suggestions of uninstalling and re-installing the printer solved the issue. The laptop is printing normally again.

Thank you again for your fast and correct responses! :)
