Okay, I asked this question before, I have built in wireless on my laptop, I believe...now my problem is that there is a question mark next to networking devices in my device manager. I don't have a wireless connection at home, so when trying to activate this wireless connection, do I have to have a wireless connection available for it to activate this function?? or can I set it up without it? The only wireless connection I have access to is my work, so should I take this lappy there and try to set it up?

Thanks for any help

It is hard to help someone when its not clear if they have wireless or what they are going to do with it.

I would suggest you talk to your work network admin about the wireless hookup. They will be able to tell you if you have wireless and if you can connect.
