Wireless mouse acting up?

I have a wireless mouse from Logitech. Recently it seems less accurate than it used to be. I can't highlight blocks of text like I used to; as soon as the block is highlighted, it becomes unhighlighted. Also, when I click on a window to close or minimize it, it closes right away without giving me a chance to select from the menu that pops up. Does this sound like the mouse is going bad or could I have inadvertently changed a setting for it? I only have the basic driver loaded; no frills.

If you are quite certain those batteries are good then it is probably time for a new mouse. Sometimes the micro-switches play up (either not clicking, or clicking when they shouldn't).

Unlikely to be a driver issue, especially as it has been working fine before.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
