I'm not familiar with the micro innovations hardware, but I wonder why the receiver should blink during normal keyboard & mouse operations.
I assume it should only do this during the sync (connection) process, not anymore after the connection has been established.
Are the batteries drained?
Have you tried to sync the keyboard again?
What about the mouse, is that working fine?

if you move the mouse the receiver blinks. If you type something the keyboard blinks. I think its supposed to do that.Batteries are brand new. I hit the reset switch on the keyboard and the problem persists. Mouse works fine

Isn't there a connect 'reset' button on all three? (Mouse, keyboard & receiver)
With mine, all three do have connect buttons, and if the mouse or keyboard suddenly looses connection (rarely happens unintentionally) you reset either one by pressing the connect button on the receiver and once it starts to blink, you do the same on the AWOL component and that pretty reconnects that device.
However my receiver does not blink during normal keyboard and mouse usage.

Hi, That keyboard is probaly bad. If one key works and the keyboard is good then all keys should work with the exception of additional keys that don't appear on standard keyboards. Keys are scanned as a matrix. One bad lead in the keyboard will disable a whole slew of keys. Not just one.
