How are gonna do it if you don't boot from the floppy (or CD) that has the program on it?

Before booting to a floppy, remove the drive from your computer. Go to the roof of the highest building in your city and toss it over the side. I can guarantee you without a shadow of doubt the data will be completely gone from the drive.

Download "Eraser" and make a "Darik's Boot'n Nuke" floppy from it. Boot with that floppy and follow instructions
