Hi My computer recently crashed on me, I formatted the c:\ and reinstalled ME, everything is working fine except I am supposed to have 60GB and it says I have only 2!!I check Fdisk partitions in case the drive had been partitioned but it doesn't seem to be, what can I do?!! I have read a few other messages which mention Bios settings but I am not sure what to do with that, please help? Thanks

You do need to partition it most likely.

Look for a BIOS update for your computer. Probably what is happening is that your BIOS cannot see that large of a HD unless it is updated.

You partitioned your hard drive as a FAT16. FAT16 can only be up to 2 gigs. You need to repartition it and this time when it asks if you want to use large disk support, choose yes. This will partition it as a FAT32 which will use all 60 gigs.
PS you don't need to upgrade your BIOS. old BIOS's had 512 megs and 8 gig limits, but never 2 gig limits.
