winlogon.exe application error

OS: Windows XP Sp3
CPU/Ram: 2.8 ghz/512 ram
Product: Dell Dimension 2400 desktop

Comment:

When I attempt to login I get a message says \"The instruction at "0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read". Click on ok to terminate the program or click on cancel to debug the program.

I have a HJT log ready to post if this will help.
