Message: Hello, Last night I had like 27 spywares detected when I ran AVG anti spyware. And I had lots of Trojans too. Don't know what happened. But everytime I tried to run AVG anti spyware my computer would shut down before the complete test was complete.. So I decided to boot my computer in safemode.. hoping to be able to run anti-spyware so I could get the entire test to run and get rid of the spyware.. I did run->msconfig->bootini.->safe mode But now my computer won't even boot.. that is when I turn it on, I get the Press F10 to recover screen, see the Windows XP screen and then it goes to the Press F10 screen to recover screen again... keeps doing this.. Can somebody help me out please!!! Thank you!

If you can get to a command/DOS prompt, type in:
chkdsk /p /r
and then go for a long drive (depending on your hdd size. It will repair any hard drive problems and also fix any boot table problems, which it sounds like you may have. give it a shot.
