my windows xp just restart for no reason, i have used up all the diagnostic software to test , including 1 and half day of full ram testing. it didn't give me any bad results. and everytime when windows restart, it creates a dump file, i would like to know if anyone here know how to read those specific files, any help will be appreciated.
please note that i haev disabled automatically restart in the system but i just really want to fix the problem. thanks.

Why don't you uncheck the box that says restart after fatal error .

okay dip stick, how bout pointing out where this 'box' might be, instead of assuming that everyone stays in all weekend figuring these things out.??
Notice the words "any HELP" would be appreciated, not "all critisism" will be accepted.

First off you spelled criticism wrong. Maybe you should study the dictionary instead of the forums. Secondly if you are such an educated man why don't you tell him where it is at. And third pretty much reciprocates number 2 if you don't have anything to offer don't mark the thread. If ryan doesn't know where the box is at I will be happy to tell him, but you are not ryan and have no place on this thread. I offered this, and I quote, "Why don't you uncheck the box that says restart after fatal error." Here is your contribution to this thread, and I quote, "okay dip stick, how bout pointing out where this 'box' might be, instead of assuming that everyone stays in all weekend figuring these things out.??

Now who is helping who. The only thing your post resolved was that you are a window licker and you rode the short bus. Scrape the water off your brain and don't act like you don't know what the short bus is. LOL

BTW ryan the box is found by right clicking on my computer and selecting properties. Then select the Advanced Tab at the top. Then the third section down there is a category entitled Startup and Recovery left click the settings button. That will open up the startup and recovery window then uncheck Automatically restart. You will be able to read the stop errors and search for a problem or you can post the error back here. Also check the event log see what sort of errors it is returning.(Event log is located in control panal under Administrative Tools.
