Hello to all, i just bought an Acer Aspire one 751 and the current OS is Windows XP home edition in italian version.I would like to change the OS and i have a windows XP professional in english version and would like to know if the following are possible. 1)Will it be possible to upgrade from the current Windows Os (Home Editon italian version ) to Windows XP professional English version? 2) .Will there be any issues like hardware conflicts? 3) I will be using a USB powered CD /ROM drive since the netbook comes without an optical driver and would also like to know if this is possible..Im worried that it might not be recognized.during boot up ..
Thank you very much in advance for any information you can provide.

I think you want to do a clean new install Make sure you have all the drivers first. Make sure you do a complete backup. And you can boot from either the CD or flash drive.
