Can anybody please help me finding drivers for the above model for windows xp. i tried everything but couldn't find drivers for windows xp & here is my last hope. thanks

You must not have tried very hard. It really helps to get the correct model number...did you forget the "F"? as in SR5710F? http://h20386.www2.hp.com/CanadaSto... If HP doesn't have XP drivers, you're going to have to identify your hardware, then hunt them down individually. This list mentions the motherboard model number: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/... So searching further turns up the motherboard specs: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/... Which in turn tells you which hardware is used: motherboard chipset = nForce 430 onboard graphics = GeForce 6150SE sound = Realtek ALC888 network = Realtek RTL8201N firewire = VIA VT6307 Now all you have to do is find the drivers. The places to look are nVidia.com, Realtek.com, VIAarena.com

Or you could do a search "windows driver packs"on Goggle. Burn them to cd...you will need at least 3 as the packs contain drivers for about 3200 pieces of hardware. You could also get them doing a search under driver packs torrents. I realize having all the drivers for all the hardware new and old is overkill, But having the packs saves time should you ever need another driver.
