Windows refuses to load.

Specs: N/A
So, I have a Netbook. (It's a 2009 I'm pretty sure but it could be a 2010) I just got it, my little brother used to use it but I think he messed this thing up really badly. All it does as soon as I turn it on is slam me into Splashtop and when I try to start windows, that resume windows pops up and you know that grey bar that's supposed to fill up all the way to white when it's done loading so that you can log into Windows? Yeah, it won't even load beyond a third of the bar. It's stuck there and it's driving me crazy. I can't find a single solution on here and somehow I think it's splash's fault cause it won't let me do anything related to the start function on windows from within it and thus I am now trapped in Splashtop with no way back into Windows. Sorry if this is utterly confusing but I am new to computers and have NO IDEA what to do. If anyone can help please do.

See More: Windows refuses to load.

Tell us the make and model of your brand name system, or if you have a generic desktop system, the make and model of the mboard.

The specific model of a brand name system is often shown on a label on the outside of the case somewhere, or it can often be determined by going to the brand name's web site and loading a program they have available, if Windows is still working, on the subject computer.

If it's a Dell computer...
Go here for how to find the Service tag "number":

Tell us what it is.

If it's a HP or Compaq computer.....
Go here:
Scroll down a bit.
Look for the similar label on the outside of your computer.
Quote the specific model number - that's at the end of the first line.
Quote the Product number - that's on the third line.

If it's a Lenovo computer
Find your specific Product number and tell us what it is:

Finding my product number

If it's an Acer netbook, provide the model number and the serial number.
Where is the model number located on my notebook or netbook?

Where is the serial number located on my notebook or netbook?

Download the online manual. Then look up how to do a factory restore. Doing a factory restore (back up anything you want to keep) will restore the hard drive to the way it was when they shipped it out. You usually tap a key or combination of keys to access the recovery console and start the restore.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
