Today I performed a system restore on my HP WIN XP. I could not get it reconnected to the internet to finish the setup and had to shutdown and unplug the pc to move it to a location to get the dsl hooked up. After getting that done, I restarted the pc and the black screen asking me which mode to start windows in pops up. I have tried to start with each mode and still no luck. Then after disconnecting all hardware but the keyboard, mouse and screen, i tried another system restore. The restore keeps giving me an error and now I am stuck back at the Black screen asking AGAIN which mode I would like to try to restart windows with. HELP!!! My pc is my work. I need it to run well.
