Windows Media Player Problem

OS: Windows XP Home Edition
CPU/Ram: 512MB
Comment:

Ever since I installed an MP3 player to my computer I keep getting a message in Windows Media Player..."Windows Media Files License Corrupted."
I don't have the MP3 no more and the icon of the MP3 well I erased it.
What is the best thing to do?

install media player again

download the latest verson form the winblows web page

remove from program files in add/remove programs in controll pannl

then reboot

and install MP10 again

then find yourself a few codecs

like the folowing

oh i forgot to say when you man mp3 player do you mean a device like an ipod or a player like winamp ???


also i forgot to say remove all other codecs first b4 installing this

But if I download the media player that you say won't that delete the music I have in the media that I have right now?

I don't know if the MP3 is an ipod or winamp I just bought it from DELL.

Well I have the old version of MP, the one that came with my computer when I bought.

I have alot of music in the Windows Media Player the thing is that if I remove it to install the new version won't my music be erased too? How can I do it without damaging or removing my music?
