Windows loading slow

Toshiba labtop SATELLITE

Specs: Windows 7, 4.0 GB
When I try to run my computer in normal mode
my laptop it either begins lagging and pretty
much stops working or I get the Startup Repair
Service that is supposed to repair for me, but
doesnt. Once it loads and I choose what
profile I want and login, it takes forever for it to
start. After about 30 minutes it seems I can
operate my computer, but as soon as I click
on something the whole computer goes
unresponsive. Ive tried to System Restore, but
it says that one of my files can't be restored
so the restore failed. Ive tried to delete the file
so it is no longer there, but it still doesnt work.

Either you have to return it to OEM state by using the recovery media or you may need to start looking at hardware. Such as is the memory amount correct still or use some memtest tests or other tests.
