Specs: Windows XP
hey people, recently my computer has just for no apparent reason decided its going to crash every time i try to play a game, and now it wont even start outside of safe mode save for a few intances where i am able to use it normally before it crashes a few minutes in.

I have no idea what to do i initialy thought it was a virus so i scanned every file and even deleted that account (dont ask me why) i have updated everything i can, but it still happens.

i dont know much about computers outside games and studying, can someone help out? im not even sure of how to find out the information you might need ( useless i know )

Any time a computer will boot in Safe Mode and not normal, it points to being a driver issue. But, if it boots fine then crashes later in normal mode that does stink of a virus or the system is overheating. What did you use to do a Virus scan?

i used my avast anivirus program and detected 3 infected files which were then deleted but the problem still persists :(

is it because a virus still exists there and is hiding? if so how to i remove it
(also i used microsoft's virus checker thing aswell)
