windows 7 can't boot

Hello i have a problem when i start my computer it says 'invalid boot.ini file' some1 can help me i have the windows 7 dvd but it doesn't help

Has it worked at all? if yes then, boot from the dvd and do a repair install.
If not, reinstall W7.
Can't offer more as no information is forthcoming from you as to your system specs, if it's the only OS system, dual boot, partitions, hdd's, you get the idea.
