I have a SoundWave 7.1 PCI card installed on a Windows Server 2003 machine. I can't seem to get it to recognize the card. The drivers say they are current. But when I try to run a wav file it goes through Windows Media and gives the following error. It would seem there is some kind of problem - the card is enabled. What else could be the problem?

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly.
