Window XP welcome screen

Does anyone know how can l stop the welcome screen from appearing on boot up, as l want to boot up strait into my Desk top, so l can by pass the welcome screen and will boot much faster. I am the only user of my computer.

Thank you all, but you still have to click on the account button, before gaining access to the desktop. I use to be able to boot up strait onto the desktop, with out having to click on the account button, to gain access, but can't remember how l did it.
