will not boot up

Specs: Windows Vista
my computer turns on fine it just wont go past a black screen that says Phoenix-AwardBios v6.00pg, an energy star ally copyright (c) 1984-2007, Phoenix Technologies,LTD copyright 2007 by hewlett-pakard company rev.3.16 main processor: inrel (R) core(TM)2 cpu2.13ghz(266x8.0) and it says press F1 for set up and that dont work i cut it off then pressed it at the same time of start up and it says entering set up but thats as far as it goes im lost and need help

So can you access the bios? Yes or No? If you can you need to check if the bios recognizes your hard drive and that the boot order is set to that hard drive. If you can't access your bios, it's possible it has been corrupted and you need to recover it.
