I wanted to see if anyone could tell me if my mobo can support even one of these gpu's. I have a PNY 8600GT 256MB and its workin cool and all but i want to upgrade man.....I am ordering 2 EVGA 9800GTX+'s (512mb a piece) for my next rig but i want to throw one of them into my current rig, don't know if my mobo can handle it or not. Help!!! I have an Apevia 680w psu with the 12v rails rated at 22A and 24A so im good there. Just don't know if this board can handle it.

Apevia is a sorry excuse for a PSU. The board is the last thing you ned to worry about.

It says in this manual that both PCI-E X16 slots are running in PCI-E X 8 mode.

However, in the real world a card running in X16 mode is not running anywhere near twice as fast as card running in X8 mode.

Right on, Thank You Very Much. I'm gonna go ahead with my purchase of those GTX+'s, and the corsair 750w TX psu. This rig is gonna go to my Son and i'm gonna build a newer bigger rig later. Thanks again
