Specs: Ubuntu 10.10, Intel C440 1GB
Can anyone report success with a USB wireless adapter that will work out of the box on Ubuntu 10.10

I haven't tried it but a report of a realtek works.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

You'll most likely have to use Ndiswrapper, or b43fwcutter, if you had a Broadcom chip I mean, but I'm sure it would work if you didn't have one. Here's a guide that'll help:

I used b43fwcutter (As I'm running 10.04) and it worked like a charm for my Broadcom STA driver. Hope the link helps!
