Solved Why do Windows 7 desktop rear USB ports fail?

Specs: Windows 7, Intel Core i5-3570K *8GB RAM
USB sockets at the back of the computer start to fail after computer fully boots up. The sockets in the front of the computer work fine.

Have a look in Device Manager and see if there are any errors showing against USB's.

Did they just suddenly go wrong or was it after something or other was done/changed?

I checked device manager, there was an issue with one of the USB ports, i managed to miss it during my initial troubleshoot due to it being under 'other' opposed to under the USB settings (weird). But I reinstalled the driver software and that solved the problem.
